TRAINING GUIDELINES
• All trainers need to be certified in all areas of Shockwave Treatments
• Once device is delivered our department reaches out to the buyer to schedule
the appropriate training for their location.
• A two-day training schedule should be required. 1 day in Orthopedics and 1 in Urology. If the location will be performing multiple treatments.
• All staff members who make appointments or speak with patients about our technology need a complete overview of the technology and provided a dialogue of questions and answer cheat sheet.
• All technicians must receive a treatment on themselves so they are aware and can explain to their patients what they will be experiencing.
• Create training videos for the front staff and the back staff
• Revisit the training location within 3-6 to followup with any questions
• On the followup visit, let the technicians perform a practical on trainer to insure proper application
• Trainer determines at follow up if technician is ready for certification test
• Create a contract for Network Partnering with monthly memberships
• Create training manuals
• Have training materials to leave behind for reference
• MUST provide support in all facets
• All trainers need basic training on the technical side of the device to troubleshoot onsite.
